2004-2005 Season

Breaking LegsThe worlds of the Mafia and the theatre clash hilariously when a professorial playwright seeks funding for his new play from the family of a former student. The "family" turns out to be minor Mafia godfathers who are willing to underwrite the play provided they never have to read it. The fact that the lusty, unwed daughter of the house falls in love with the playwright only furthers his involvement with the Mob. A wacky and wonderful show!

Production Dates: September 24 - October 9, 2004

TomfooleryStage directed by Nancy Curran Willis
Musically directed by David Rose
Assistant directed by David Fisher

A celebration of the genius of Tom Lehrer. Cameron Mackintosh has taken twenty-eight of Lehrer's greatest songs and added a linking narrative to produce an evening of subtle humorous delights as Lehrer attacks American 'sacred cows', having made sure to milk them thoroughly first! Drawing mainly from Lehrer's greatest years, the 1950's and 1960's, this wacky and deliciously wicked entertainment includes such favorites as "Poisoning Pigeons In The Park", "I Hold Your Hand In Mine", "The Masochism Tango", "The Old Dope Peddler", "We Will All Go Together When We Go" and "I Got It From Agnes"

Production Dates: February 11 - March 5, 2005

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, AbridgedWritten by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield
Directed by Dave Sheppard.

The Complete works of William Shakespeare, which total 37 plays (17 comedies, 10 histories, and 10 tragedies), are performed in only 90 minutes by three extremely energetic, fun and brave actors. The trio warm up with a rollicking send-up of ROMEO AND JULIET, and then simultaneously breeze through all 17 comedies to have more time lampooning the tragedies and historical plays. Witness OTHELLO turned into a rap, TITUS ANDRONICUS as a cooking show, a sock puppet version of HAMLET, and much more. Why? Because life is short and the complete works of William Shakespeare are long.

Production Dates: April 15 - May 7, 2005
