Steel Magnolias By Robert Harling Directed by Michelle Fisher
Robert Harling’s award-winning play about the lives, loves and losses of six women from a tiny parish in Louisiana. The action is set in Truvy's beauty salon where all the ladies who are "anybody" come to have their hair done. Filled with hilarious repartée and not a few acerbic but humorously revealing verbal collisions, the play draws on the women's underlying strength and love. The characters show that they are truly touching, funny, and marvelously amiable company in good times and bad.
Production Dates: November 20 - December 12, 2009
Friday and Saturday performances begin at 8PM; Sunday November 29th matinée is at 3PM.
