THE STORY

Serge buys an expensive white painting, accented with three white lines. Serge's best friend Marc is highly dismayed, thinking it is a cruel joke. Lines are drawn and these old friends square off over the canvas, heatedly arguing about what constitutes art, and ultimately putting their friendship in jeopardy. A wise and witty comedy, Art is wildly funny and provocative, raising profound questions about the value of both art and friendship.
